1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Trakia Silicon Valley JSC, UIC 124101884, with registered address at 11A Aksakov Str., Floor 5, Office 3, 1000 Sofia, Bulgaria ( TSV , we , us or the Organiser ), collects, uses, stores and protects personal data in connection with the Green Semiconductors Investment Forum (GSIF) 2026 and the website gsiforum.eu.

GSIF 2026 will take place on 4 November 2026 in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Trakia Silicon Valley JSC acts as the data controller for the personal data processed through the GSIF 2026 website and in connection with registration and participation in the Forum. We process personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation - GDPR) and applicable Bulgarian data protection legislation. 2. Personal Data We Collect

2.1. Registration and Participation Requests

When you submit a request to participate in GSIF 2026 through the website, we may collect:

  • full name;
  • organisation;
  • position/job title;
  • country;
  • email address;
  • participation category;
  • information provided in response to Why would you like to participate? .

Please do not include sensitive personal information or other information that is not relevant to your participation request.

2.2. Subsequent Communication

If your participation request is approved or if you otherwise communicate with the Organising Committee, we may process additional information necessary to coordinate your participation, including correspondence, registration status and relevant organisational information.

2.3. Speakers, Panellists and Other Forum Participants

For speakers, moderators, panellists and other featured participants, we may additionally process professional information provided directly by the participant or their organisation, including:

  • professional biography;
  • position and organisation;
  • professional photograph;
  • presentation/session information;
  • other professional information necessary for the Forum programme, website and communication materials.

Where such information is intended for publication, it may be displayed on the GSIF 2026 website, programme and related Forum materials.

2.4. Payment Information

Submission of a participation request does not constitute a ticket purchase.

Following review of the request, approved participants may receive either complimentary access or, where applicable, a payment link for purchasing a ticket. Payments are processed through an external payment service provider. Payment card details and other financial credentials entered directly into the payment provider's environment are processed by the relevant payment provider in accordance with its own privacy and security terms. We may receive and retain information necessary to administer your participation, such as payment status, transaction reference, ticket status and related accounting information, where applicable.

3. How We Use Personal Data

We may process personal data for the following purposes:

  • receiving and reviewing requests to participate in GSIF 2026;
  • assessing requests in accordance with the Forum's participation criteria and available capacity;
  • communicating the outcome of participation requests;
  • managing approved registrations and complimentary participation;
  • facilitating ticket purchase where applicable;
  • communicating with registered participants before, during and after the Forum;
  • organising sessions, speakers, moderators and panellists;
  • preparing and publishing the Forum programme and speaker information;
  • responding to enquiries;
  • managing the organisation, security and administration of the Forum;
  • complying with applicable legal, accounting and regulatory obligations;
  • establishing, exercising or defending legal claims where necessary.

4. Review of Participation Requests

Participation in GSIF 2026 is limited and subject to availability.

Submission of the registration form constitutes a request to participate and does not automatically confirm attendance or create a right to participate in the Forum. Participation requests are reviewed by the GSIF Organising Committee based on the information submitted through the registration form and the objectives, audience and available capacity of the Forum. The review is conducted by members of the Organising Committee and is not based solely on automated decision-making. Approved applicants will receive further instructions regarding confirmation of participation and, where applicable, complimentary access or ticket purchase.

5. Legal Bases for Processing

Depending on the particular processing activity, we process personal data on one or more of the following legal bases under the GDPR:

         Steps prior to entering into a contract and performance of a contract - where processing is necessary to administer a participation request, ticket purchase or confirmed participation in the Forum.

         Legitimate interests - where processing is necessary for the organisation, administration, security and effective operation of GSIF 2026, including reviewing participation requests, managing professional participants and maintaining appropriate Forum communications, provided that such interests are not overridden by the rights and freedoms of the individuals concerned.

         Legal obligations - where processing is required to comply with applicable accounting, tax, regulatory or other legal requirements.

         Consent - where consent is specifically requested for a particular processing activity.

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

6. Who May Receive Your Personal Data

Personal data may be accessed or processed, where necessary, by:

  • authorised members of the GSIF Organising Committee;
  • Trakia Silicon Valley JSC personnel involved in organising the Forum;
  • website hosting and technical service providers;
  • payment service providers, where a ticket purchase is required;
  • professional advisers and service providers supporting the organisation of the Forum;
  • competent public authorities where disclosure is required by law.

We disclose personal data only to the extent necessary for the relevant purpose. Where third-party service providers process personal data on our behalf, appropriate contractual and organisational safeguards are applied as required by applicable data protection law.

7. International Transfers

Some service providers used in connection with the Forum may process data outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, we will ensure that an appropriate transfer mechanism or safeguard required by the GDPR is in place, where applicable.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and to comply with applicable legal obligations.

  • information relating to participation requests will be retained for the period necessary to administer GSIF 2026 and reasonable post-event follow-up;
  • information relating to ticket purchases and financial transactions may be retained for the periods required under applicable accounting and tax legislation;
  • professional information published about speakers, moderators and panellists may remain in archived Forum materials as part of the historical record of the event.

Where personal data is no longer required, it will be deleted, anonymised or securely archived, as appropriate.

9. Event Photography and Video

GSIF 2026 may be photographed, filmed or otherwise recorded for documentation, communication and promotion of the Forum and related activities. Photographs and audiovisual materials may subsequently be used in GSIF and TSV communication channels, including websites, social media, presentations, reports and materials relating to current or future editions of the Forum. Where appropriate, participants will be informed of photography and filming taking place at the venue. Where an individual is the principal subject of a photograph, interview or other specifically commissioned content, additional permission may be requested where required.

10. Cookies

The GSIF 2026 website currently does not use analytics, advertising or behavioural tracking cookies. The website uses only a technical session cookie necessary for the operation and security of the website. Further information is available in our Cookie Notice. If additional analytics, advertising or tracking technologies are introduced in the future, this Privacy Policy and the Cookie Notice will be updated and, where required, appropriate consent mechanisms will be implemented before such technologies are activated.

11. Your Rights

Subject to the conditions and limitations provided by applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • request access to your personal data;
  • request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data;
  • request deletion of your personal data;
  • request restriction of processing;
  • object to processing based on legitimate interests;
